Arcadia area in Scottsdale Arizona neighborhood remodel

Located near the Arizona Baltimore Fashion park, Fashion Square mall and Camelback Mountain you will find a treasure of neighborhoods. A Locality in Arizona where the families in the area are honored and the local home coming dance get’s top ranking on the Arcadia Daily website. No! this is not a small town in a rural area, this is in the heart of Arizona.

Money Magazine describes the Arcadia area as “highly regarded for its greenery and high-performance school, which are in the Scottsdale system”

Neighborhoods such as the home pictured here are being revitalized, remodeled and updated.  The already picturesque neighborhood are updating the look of the home inside and out. Keeping the vegetation in tack the homes are painted on the outside and inside receives new cabinets, windows for energy efficiency and flooring. In some cases doorways are widened and sun rooms are completed adding additional space for families.

Watching the tragic news of Belle Harbor, New York on 60 min, the devastation that occurred from Hurricane Sandy is overwhelming to watch. I don't feel we can comprehend the struggle of their daily lives.
Yet, they are a community of family staying together in times of tragedy. Where a heroic man purchased extra generators on a credit card because he knew other families would need one to live. To learn more about the people of Belle Harbor go to http://www.cbsnews.com/60-minutes/ and watch the episode from 60 min.

We don't see many of these communities anymore, at lease I didn't think we had. If you walk around the neighborhood of Arcadia you will see a community, one that looks after each other. When Knipp Contracting starts a project and our sign is in the yard we know neighbors are watching out for that home. We get calls when something just doesn't seam right with the home or just to say things are ok. We are grateful and honored they trust us and look out for their neighborhood.

Restaurants such as Postino Wine Cafe  where you can sit on the patio and have a panini or go next door to the La Grande Orange Grocery for a home made desert both are all staples of this close community.
