Popular Communities: Anthem, Arizona; Outlets, Parks and More, Oh My!

We continue our series on popular communities in Arizona.  Anthem, Arizona

Driving North On I-17 past the carefree highway you will find a community called Anthem. Besides the Friendly people, local shops and a since of community you will find Anthem’s Parks .  A 63-acre park which includes a four-acre catch-and-release fishing lake, softball, baseball and soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, in-line hockey rink, half-pipe skateboard park, Adventure Playground with 3-level castle, half-mile kid-sized railroad, outdoor amphitheater for concerts and events, picnic ramadas with BBQ’s and 10 miles of hiking and biking trails linking the centralized amenities with the various neighborhoods. Wow!

Where they highlight traditional community events such as "Autumn fest" and "holiday in the park" as gatherings for  local neighbors. A time to slow down and catch up on each others lives. How families are doing; who is graduating from school, in a local play or celebrateing a new position at work.

I was in Fry's grocery the other day. While I was in line to check out I could here a conversation happening in front of me.

It went like this: Hey, have you seen the new Real Estate office opened?.  It did?, they have been remodeling the space for a while.  Linda [Rehwalt] works over there,
It's a Re/Max professionals office.  I like Linda!, Me too!

As I watched them walk away I thought to myself this would be a conversation at the corner store located a small town in middle Tennessee. The Citizens of Anthem, Az look out for each other.   I see why few people have the desire to move from the area. That is why we here at Knipp Contracting have been busy with Kitchen and Bathroom Remodels.  Updating the home for a modern up to date look.  The people of Anthem decided not to sell and move away, they love the area, the homes and especially love the friendships they have developed thought out the years.

Although I do not live in the area, I too feel apart of the community. If your driving by and see our sign!  Look for me I may be taking photos for our Tube video or face book post. I would love to hear from you.
