Inexpensive ideas to spruce up a kitchen or bath.

Springtime is here!  Looking for inexpensive ideas to spruce up the kitchen or bath?

Here are some ideas that are inexpensive and sure to inspire!

Cabinets can be expensive. Changing out the handles or door knobs can be fun, easy and will change the look of the room.   Look around for clearance items, a good place to start is at your local home improvements store in the clearance section. Bed linen stores have clearance items as well. Is your decor eclectic? mix and match your knobs or handles, you an always change them back! Go ahead be spontenaious!

Be sure you count the number of knobs or handles needed. When the deal comes along all the information you need will be at your fingertips.

Purchase a new area rug to bring warmth and color into a drab space. Wanting to add  color without painting? Try adding decorative pots full of flowers or plants.

Painting an accent wall or the entire room is another excellent choice for creating a new revived space.  Check with your local home improvement store or your contractor for paint that was purchased and returned for the color. These paints are discounted and can be the color you have always wanted.

Below is the before and after of a bath that was painted. This new neutral color changed the mood of the room giving it a fresh new sophisticated look. Adding a mirror finished this look for a whole new bathroom.
